Full Description

Donyland Heath is shown on the County Series at 1:2500 Scale Epoch 1 Historic Map (1874-1887), located to the west of the settlement of Rowhedge. The heath is roughly square in shape, with an area of 12.66ha. There were a number of buildings built along the edge of the heath. However, the only surviving building is the Grade II listed mid C19 public house The Ipswich Arms (LB Number: 1273662). The modern heath is the same as the Epoch 1 version. <1>
