Full Description
Janke's Green is originally shown on the 1777 Chapman & Andre Historic Map, located to the north of the settlement of Chappel. The green is shown on this map to be a an elongated triangle along Fordham Road, with an area of 0.5515ha. The map shows two collections of buildings on the edge of the green. One of these seems to be the Grade II listed C18 Barn at Janke's Farm (LB Number: 1224673). <1>
