Full Description
Alcock's Green is labelled on the County Series at 1:2500 Scale Epoch 1 Map (1874-1887), located to the northeast of Wakes Colne Green; it is shown on Chapman & Andre's 1777 map, but not labelled. The green is linear, extending from Wakes Colne Green (S) to Mount Green (N), along Chappel Road/Bures Road to Wakes Hall Green, to Jupe's Hill - an elongated triangle/linear green, c.1.6km N-S. The green is no longer extant.
