Full Description

Rose Green is originally shown on the 1777 Chapman & Andre Historic Map, located just to the east of Chappel (and labelled Bots-tye Green). The green is shown on this map to be roughly triangular in shape, c.0.7ha in area. The map shows two collections of buildings on the edge of the green.<1>
