Full Description

Potts Green is shown on the 1777 Chapman & Andre Historic Map, located just southeast of Marks Tey. The green is shown on this map to be roughly rectangular. It has an area of c.0.5ha. The map shows two collections of buildings on the edge of the green, both of which still seem to be standing. One of these buildings seems to be the Grade II listed C16 Farmhouse Doggets Hammer Farm (LB Number: 1266767). <1>

Potts Green is also shown on the County Series at 1:2500 Scale Epoch 1 Historic Map (1874-1887).
