Full Description

At least 4 ring ditches, 2 concentric. <1>
APs<2>-<5> <6>
Evaluation revealed that one of the low-lying barrow features (visible as a ring-ditch on AP's) is man-made. However, the excavated evidence is ambiguous as to the date and function of the mound. Artefacts recovered from the mound interior and surrounding ring-ditch deposits may infer an Iron Age, Roman or later date. But this material may be the product of secondary use of an existing monument. Comparison with the other three mounds and ring-ditches close by the mound is assumed to be a Bronze Age barrow. <7>
