Full Description

Site of brickworks in 1874. <1> <2> In 1770's there was a brick kiln near The Hay, south of Manwood Bridge over the Roman River, south of East Donyland and west of Fingringhoe. In 1873 Solomon Went owned three acres of land in East Donyland where he operated extensive brick works in the Rowhedge part of the parish. <3>
