Full Description

Cropmarks of linear features. The predominent cropmarks relate to the former woodland boundaries and field boundaries of Aldhamhall Wood and Aldham Hall. Aldhamhall Wood was more extensive up to the mid 20th century, extending up to c.100m from Aldham Hall (now it is over 300m away; the name continues to be used in a small area to the north-east). In addition, there are other linear features, and possible pits.<1>-<4>
