Full Description
Cropmark of a pond, which appears on the modern OS 1:10,000 and 1:10,560 sheets, though does not appear on the OS 1st edition 6" series. The cropmark is oval, about 60 metres long by 35 metres wide, and is unusual in that it does not have the dark, positive interior usually ssociated with former pond cropmarks. In this way, the cropmark could easily be mistaken as an enclosure and possibly a bi-vallate one. <1>-<4>
