Full Description

CAT1/80a The digging of a small pond in the garden close to the rear of the house produced a small quantity of pottery dated AD50-60 and two brooches, found by the owner, Mrs J Berry. The material is of Claudio-Neronian date. One brooch published in CAR 2, the other is a two-piece Colchester B brooch, Type 92. Most of the pottery was discarded. <1>
