Full Description

Laying of a gas pipeline from Maldon Road north towards Gryme's Dyke. The trench cut Heath Farm Dyke Middle and Kidman's Dyke Middle. Heath Farm; the remains of the dyke c.0.05m high were detected to the inside of the ditch - of gravel and reddish brown sand. Kidman's Dyke; several tip lines were visible in the bank - all modern and represent upcast along the edge of modern quarry.<1>
