Possible outlier of the West Cemetery of Roman Colchester; one of a number of cremation burials listed by Hull as part of the cemetery but the location as marked on Hulls plan is rather distant from the other burials of this cemetery. This site listed in Hull's gazetteer as "grave 220, found SE of last (ie, Hulls site 156, under Mrs Coats Huttons house, Lexden Road). <1>
