Full Description

Hull notes, "On 13/7/1959 the building Inspector rang up to say a tessellated floor had been found. This lay at only 2ft from the surface, against the east wall of the site, and 39ft 6" back from the building-line on High Street. It was made of red tesserae less than an inch square, its main lines ran E-W, but the width remaining hardly exceeded a foot".<1>
