Full Description

"A trench cut down Trinity Street 5ft from the E kerb lacked interest except that just S of Culver Street three parallel walls were cut through, the first lying 26ft S of the north building line of Culver Street, the second 31ft and the third 40ft. They were 2ft thick and of the usual character". The first was exposed again in another excavation against the W kerb - it was 2.5ft thick and 4ft from the surface. The small finds are listed in the museum. There were no floors. information from Lavers Diary. <1> <2>
