Full Description

in May 1929 a shaft was sunk on the line of the outer wall, 100ft E of the NW angle, which established a middle wall found to be standing 10ft high. It was entirely of septaria and was completely ruined on the N side. Upper part still 3ft thick and had probably been 4ft. Section in source 1. <1>
