Full Description
Note in Hull states "Essex County Standard, 11-3-1924. A photograph of a kiln on this site, undoubtedly part of the remains referred to above (= 12477), has recently been given to the museum. It shows a kiln of exactly the same type as those used to manufacture tiles in the C13-C14 but very small". <1>
