Full Description

Complete beaker found under W footpath of St John's Green, Colchester in 1930, Abercromby A type, Clarke type S2(E). The beaker was found during the laying of a gas main, c.100 yards S of St John's Green. It was presented to Colchester Museum. <1> - <5> According to Colchester Museum report, 1930, the beaker was found in ? Road, about 18ft (surely inches) from the surface. <6>
