Full Description

Human skull found on a gate post about 100 yards from building works in Severalls Lane. Examined by Department of Forensic Science, THe London Hospital, revealing it was over 300 years old, being the skull of a "Dulidulephatic North European middle-aged male". One theory is that the skull was dug up during axcavations for building works in the area and left by the gateway to the field. <1>
