Site of chapel of St Mary on the Green which stood near the monastery of St John. Extant in 1363. <1> <2> In 1363 Pope Urban V granted relaxation of penance to visitors to the chapel of St Mary on the Green near the monastery of St John, which had suffered from flood and fire. <3> <4>
