Full Description

Excavation of C12-C13 pottery kiln. One of the boundary ditched investigated yielded fragments of tegulae, bonding tiles, box flue tiles and a fragment from a Rhenish lava quern. A smaller ditch produced fragments of tegulae and bonding tiles. Two lumps of burnt septaria from one of the he boundary ditches may be of Roman origin. <1>
