Full Description

Substantial circular building between 20 and 30 feet (6 - 9m) in diameter recorded during digging to enlarge cellar. The cellar was left at its original depth because of difficulty in breaking the structure up.<1>
Thought to form part of a substantial Roman building covering the eastern half of Insula 20 (see MCC80.).
