Full Description

One phase of the cemetery ended c.AD 50 but burials began again in the Flavian period, in a very small way, and end in the C3. Wheeler and Laver Schedule Nos 151 and 152. <1> At TL 97392519 Roman remains were found in 1825 when a great number of urns were recovered during widening of the road at Lexden Hill.
