Full Description

Two foot thick east-west running masonry footings with north-south wall adjoining it on its northern side. This had been robbed out though and may have been a pit. The footings were ?(missing) North of the High Street. Foundations are presumably Roman but it should be remembered that this in the area of the possibly Norman stone houses.<1>
