Full Description

Moated site. "?Domesday manor site or later replacement." The south side and part of the west side of the moat survive wet; the other sides are represented by a line of willow and elm trees. <1> Probably to be associated with the family of William Wascelin, 1214. <2>

Site Assessment = Partly rubbish filled. The elms are now dying and this may lead to the clearance of the site. <1>
