Full Description

Circular mound 30m wide and 2m high surrounded by a shallow ditch and with a causeway on the east side. Possibly a mill mound but Hull suggests this is a barrow. <1> <2> <3> Barrow origins likely. <1> Photos in SMR. <4>

Site Assessment = Mound in very good condition. The field is in pasture and likely to remain so according to the farmer. <1>
