Full Description
Roman tile scattered over the field east of Layer Breton Lodge and it has been reported that tile cists have been ploughed up here. <1> <2> In the field 200 yards west of Nevards there is a black patch with pottery at TL 94941829. Further finds of tiles and pottery were reported in 1957 fields between Nevards and Layer Breton Lodge. <2>
