Full Description

Neck of Attic lekythos. <1> Pottery fragment from the neck of an Attic lekythos 425-450BC. The mouth of the jar is missing - it was probably made separately. Found during ploughing of a field of Virley glebe to a greater depth than previously. Other sherds from the same point were unfortunately turned in by ploughing. <2> <3>
