Full Description

Moat.<1> Homestead moat, rectangular, measuring c.40m east-west x 30m north-south. It is now dry except for the western arm and is situated within a wood in pasture field on a very slight slope. There is an earthern bank around the outside of the most beyond a broad berm, and an entrance/break midway in the north side. There is some stone lying about near the south-east corner of the raised interior.<2>

Site Assessment = The earthwork is in fairly good condition but is heavily overgrown and obstructed with fallen trees, etc. (NB. no date is recorded for this assessment).<2>
