Full Description
Iron Age pot (1939), Roman sherds and coin. <1> VCH gives NGR TL 945305. "Sherds are said to have been found near the house (and others, possibly not Roman, by the stream just below it). A complete urn was found in making the tenis court. In 1944 a small bronze coin of Theodora was found in the garden". Finds in Colchester Museum. <2> <3>
