Full Description
Roman road. <1> "There is some evidence for a road to Nayland (Suffolk) running through Great Horkesley, where at one time the agger could be seen and the road was named Horkesley Causey. Beyond Horkesley nothing is known of it, but it points to Hitcham (Suff) from which a Roman road runs north". <2> <3>
