Full Description
Josselyns - Baileys on C and A map of 1777.<1><2> C17 timber-framed house. The upper storey projects at the west end of the south side.<3> An insignificant little cottage made picturesque by its thatched roof. Cement rendered, mainly modern in details.<4>
NB. This building first appears on the 1973-1993 County Series 1:10k map (and not before). It is likely that this record was assigned erroenously, and should relate to Old Josselyns (MCC4371), which does appear on Chapman and Andre's 1777 map (Old Josselyns is Baileys on the 18th century map).
