Full Description

Cropmarks of linear features and a pit. <1><2>

A complicated cropmark complex including numerous geological features in addition to various rectilinear features. Some of the latter would appear to form a large irregular rectilinear enclosure, possibly with an entrance. Noticeably there are concentrations of pits within this area. <3> <4>

Some of the pits and linear features were visible on the 2008 photography.<6>

Google Earth (2000) shows numerous linear and curvilinear features, that are infilled enclosure ditches/field boundaries, as well as probable stream channels (aligned E to W and NW to SE, merging in the east part of the field).<7>
