Full Description

Tiptree on the eastern fringe of a glacial lake that may have persisted as a sheet of water in the Hoxnian stage. Two hand-axes are known, one very rolled, crude and broken; the other a pointed form, is in sharp condition, though apparently worn by weathering. It is slightly heat-shattered, though this is probably recent damage. <1> Two hand-axes and one miscellaneous worked fragment is in Colchester Museum. <2> <3> <4>
