Full Description
During excavations at Balkerne Lane between 1973-6 (ECC332), a Roman oven (CAT feature NF36) was discovered situated to the rear of a building (MCC615) situated on the north side of the main Colchester to London road (MCC475). The oven may have been contained within the building.<1>
