Full Description

An area of improved marshland (formerly Feldy Marsh) situated adjacent to Salcott Channel that was reclaimed c.1810. The area is bounded to the east by the current sea wall and borrow dyke, to the north and west by an earlier sea wall and to the south by a former creek. A well is shown in one corner of the marsh on the 1st edition OS map. Red hills are recorded in adjacent areas but not within the area of marsh itself.<1>
