Full Description
Report on the repairs undertaken on the eastern Roman walls of Colchester town. The outer facing of the wall had been lost or replaced over time, probably due to post-medieval robbing of building materials from the wall. Medieval stonework had been incorporated into 19th or 20th century buttressing <1>
