Full Description

<1>Large complex of huts within double wire perimeter fence. Large number of huts have been demolished abd replacd by modern accomodation.
<2>Camp opened late 1944. The camp was built up with large agricultural area. Fences double-wall bared wire and each corner fitted with guarding tower. Whole camp consisted of tents. After one year the whole camp was re-built gradually, from sub-camp to sub-camp. Tents were replaced by solid buildings and barracks and the POW camp was changed to a repatration camp. Closed at the end of 1946.
