Full Description
Signpost. 1920s/1930s. Cast iron. Manufactured by Stanton of Derbyshire. A circular section tapered post with raised ring decoration and an annulus finial reading ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL. Three arms with rounded ends reading (1) EARLS COLNE (2) COGGESHALL (3) COLCHESTER.<1>
NB. A site visit made by J Tipper on 6/1/20 recorded the Maldon manufacturers mark on this signpost.
