Full Description
1996: The SHQ/Ops site was located in Kiln Wood at TM 0163 2970 of which there may be upstanding remains.
2006: An Air Ministry plan of Boxted Airfield and its Dispersed Sites, dated November 1944, shows the Administrative Site in Kiln Wood and an adjacent meadow. It comprised eight buildings and other structures including the Operations Block. Current survival is not known.<1>
