Full Description

Site B is located to the north-west of site A (EHCR 45992) and comprises at least 38 vertical timbers,a variety of square and round cut posts in varying conditions and heights. There is no apparent pattern to them although they do lie on a rough north east-south west alignment and are parallel to the foreshore.

The general purpose of these timbers is at present unclear, although it is possible they may be associated with the structure at site A and could be interpreted as the timber core of an earthwork.<1><2>
