Full Description

Former Listed Building Description:
Public house. Late eighteenth-century, with twentieth-century additions. Brick and timber-framed with timber cladding to the upper floor. Plain tile shallow hipped roof with a single external stack and a single rear-wall stack. 2 storey.
Main facade has painted brick ground floor with projecting twentieth century timber-clad porch flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. The upper floor is clad with timber boarding and has 3 similar glazing bar sash windows. To left a projecting flat-roofed single storey extension also with a glazing bar sash window.
Right return has central external stack with single window to right.
INTERIOR retains evidence of original timber-frame. Some spine beams and various panel doors.
