Full Description

This is the site of a 1936 reinforced concrete water tower. It consists of a 24-sided concrete water tank supported on a twelve-sided central core and twelve columns which are tied back to the core with ties and struts at three intermediate levels and tank soffit level. There are three ring beams tying the columns together at intermediate levels and one at the tank soffit level. Window openings in the central core have been filled in and there is a wooden door. <1>.
