Full Description
1861 Gas company formed.
1878 and 1886 James Meadows Rodwell, Secretary. Also Land and Estate Agent. The 1884 Gas Engineer's Directory lists E.Goddard as 'Engineer or Manager'. The annual make was only 1.25m from 130 tons of coal.
1895 Reconstructed, Dedham Gas Co.Ltd.
1900 John Williams Brooke Secretary, George Hunt "Working Manager"
In 1929 Bertram Young was Secretary (Kelly).
By 1933 the gas works had "closed". <1>.
