Full Description

15 sherds of Medieval pottery, all located in the ploughsoil/subsoil (L1 and L2), were recovered from a small excavation at Frog Hall Farm in 1975-76. These comprised 12 sherds dated from the 11th to 14th centuries AD and and three sherds from the 13th to 16th centuries. These were thought to have been deposited by manuring in the fields.<1><2>
