Early C20 cast iron direction post by Maldon Ironworks. Only the post now remains (covered in dense ivy), and both the arms and finial are now missing.

Full Description

Cast iron signpost, Maldon Ironworks type probably with (now missing) conical top. Likely to date to early 20th century. Two arms marked: B1025 WEST MERSEA BEACH 1/2; and COLC[HESTER ?] now broken.<1><2>
Missing finial would have been the semicircular parish plate type.<3>
