Full Description

An aerial photograph taken in 1947 shows an hexagonal pillbox standing on the E side of a N/S hedgeline to the W of the River Colne. It can be seen to have had a central anti-aircraft machine-gun well and was almost certainly of the same type as SMR 10945 (MCC4770). Although it can be seen on a 1970 aerial photograph, an aerial photograph taken in 1980 shows it to have been demolished by that date, the area being an open field.<1><2><3>
