Full Description

Before its imminent demolition, this pillbox was visited in October 1995. Standing on high ground in the railway station car park, it was a brick and concrete type FW3/22 pillbox with its entrance on the SE face. In contemporary records it is listed a "Pillbox. O.S. No. 583, Allotment, near Station Garage, North Station, Map ref. 443447” (Mil. Ed.).<1>

The area is now an Asda Superstore development.
