Full Description

1:1250 map no. TM0025NE dated 1971 shows the shape of an hexagonal pillbox with its entrance on the SW side standing on the W fringe of a wood facing the R. Colne a 100 yards to the NE. Part of this pillbox can be seen on an aerial photograph taken in 1970.<1><2>

The area is now part of a housing development.
