Full Description

Early to mid 19th century with minor 20th century alterations. Flemish bond brick with render. Slate hipped roof. One storey brick cottage to left with slate hipped roof, wooden casements and cast iron fireplace. Stable block to rear. Purchased by the War Department in 1905 and at the time of inspection (January 2002) the Commanding Officer's residence at the Colchester Garrison.<1> The building was assessed in 2000.<2>
