Summary

Kirkee Officers' Mess, built c.1935. It consists of a central block with two smaller pavilions at the northeast and southwest ends, linked to the main block by colonnades faced with Portland limestone.

Full Description

Officers' Mess Hall. 1930s with minor C20 alterations. Red and brown brick in Flemish bond, with red brick to quoins, cornice and window openings and rubbed red brick to segmental window arches. Portland stone to entrance porch, linking colonades, and window cills and keyblocks. Red tile hipped roofs and brick stacks capped in stone. Neo-Georgian style.<1> The building was assessed in 2000.<2>
